Geoinformatics has received a written conditional offer from Kennecott under which a 100% interest in the Whistler Project would be conveyed to Geoinformatics as a "target of merit" pursuant to the Master Strategic Alliance Agreement executed between the two companies in August 2006.

The Whistler Project includes a partially-defined gold-copper porphyry system (the "Whistler Zone") with a mineralized envelope confirmed over an area of 760 by 230 metres and to a depth of 570 metres, and which is open to the north and at depth.

Intersections from inclined drill holes across the mineralized zone included 290.3 metres grading 1.15 g/t gold and 0.23% copper including:

  • 46.0 metres of 2.39 g/t gold and 0.41% copper;
  • 60.7 metres of 1.46 g/t gold and 0.28% copper;
